We have just witnessed history

We have just witnessed history,

Though the future remains a mystery.

Yesterday's events were a relief,

Yet many are now feeling grief.

Over what, you may ask,

But explaining is a huge task

Because this is a confusing land

Where barely anything goes as planned;

Full of people who keep going,

Though they may not know or may never reach what they're pursuing;

Full of people dressed smartly,

Who only stick to their words hardly.

Many choose to avoid the topic,

Probably because it has such a broad impact.

The stepping down of a leader, on the other hand, is the creation of history.

And the next fool that'll lead is a mystery.
