I am afraid of

I am afraid of

Lending you my heart,

What if you crushed it too

Or if you tore it apart?

I am afraid of

Revealing you my scars.

What if you made one more,

Or pushed me in another war?

I am afraid of

Letting you know my fears,

What if you won't listen,

Or if you closed your ears?

I am afraid of

Holding your hand.

What if you left me,

Or denied to take my stand?

I'm afraid of

Loving someone again.

What if I face another heartbreak,

And will be left in pain.
